My dear husband begins a new journey in a few weeks, enlisting in the Air Force Reserve takes him to bootcamp, then technical training, to a final assignment at Scott Air Force Base.Matt is my greatest love, help-mate in life as well as my best friend. I am so proud of his decision to serve, and I stand even prouder as his wife. I see the next year as a journey for both of us. We are so blessed to have this opportunity, and we are at peace knowing we are following the right path.
My prayers continue to be for the men, women and their families who serve our country domestic and abroad; may they continue to be lifted up by a grateful nation.
