Man In Blue or "Blue" from Old School?

Update from Matt: I received another letter from him yesterday. He is doing well and trying to stay under the radar with the Training Instructors. Which is smart, no one wants to be noticed by the Instructors - if they know your name, it's probably not for a good reason.

One thing Matt mentioned is that the young, undisciplined trainees in his flight have a nick-name for him. They call him, "Blue from Old School." It took me a minute to realize what that meant.

Any Will Ferrell movie-follower would know... in the movie Old School, the character "Blue"  is an old man (who still manages to party with the fraternity brothers).

When Matt graduates from BMT this May, I will see him as a "man in blue"; however, at this moment his fellow trainees see him as "Blue from Old School." Poor Matt!
